Warranty Policy

Wolpaq stands behind the quality of every system and product we supply and install. Our warranty policy reflects our commitment to long-term performance and client satisfaction across all our service verticals — from Wind + Solar Hybrid Energy systems to Smart AI Classrooms, IT Infrastructure, CCTV & Surveillance, and Building Automation solutions.

All warranties are subject to proper use, care, and maintenance as outlined in the documentation provided at the time of project handover. Warranty coverage begins from the date of successful commissioning and formal handover to the Client.

1. Warranty Coverage by Product Category

Solar PV Panels

25 Years

Performance warranty guaranteeing minimum 80% power output at year 25. Manufacturer's product warranty of 10 years against defects.

Wind Turbines (VAWT)

5 Years

Manufacturer warranty on structural components and generator. Subject to annual service inspection being maintained.

Li-Ion Battery (BESS)

5–10 Years

Capacity warranty guaranteeing minimum 70–80% usable capacity at end of warranty period, per manufacturer specification.

AI Interactive Panels

3 Years

Comprehensive on-site warranty covering display, touch functionality, and internal components. Next business day response for critical faults.

IT Network Equipment

3–5 Years

Hardware replacement warranty per manufacturer. Switches, routers, and access points covered against manufacturing defects.

IP Cameras & NVR

2–3 Years

Manufacturer warranty on camera bodies, sensors, and NVR hardware. Excludes physical damage and environmental abuse.

BMS Controllers & Sensors

2 Years

Warranty against manufacturing defects on all automation controllers, sensors, and actuators installed as part of BMS projects.

Installation Workmanship

1 Year

Wolpaq guarantees the quality of all installation work, cabling, and commissioning against defects attributable to our workmanship.

2. What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in hardware and components supplied by Wolpaq
  • Premature failure of equipment under normal operating conditions
  • Performance shortfall below specified and warranted output levels
  • Workmanship defects attributable to Wolpaq's installation teams
  • Software or firmware faults in Wolpaq-supplied systems within the warranty period

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage caused by accidents, misuse, vandalism, or acts of nature (covered separately under the Damage Policy)
  • Damage resulting from unauthorised modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic deterioration
  • Consumable components such as lamps, filters, and batteries in peripheral devices
  • Performance issues arising from the Client's failure to follow the recommended maintenance schedule
  • Equipment failure caused by power surges, unstable grid supply, or inadequate power protection not supplied by Wolpaq

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, the Client must:

  • Contact Wolpaq's support team within the warranty period via email at info@wolpaq.com or phone at +91 90597 30203
  • Provide a description of the fault, photographs or video evidence where applicable, and the original project reference number
  • Allow Wolpaq's technical team access to the site for fault diagnosis and assessment

Upon validation of the warranty claim, Wolpaq will repair or replace the defective component at no charge to the Client. Response timelines are governed by the severity of the fault and the applicable support agreement in place.

5. Annual Maintenance and Warranty Continuity

To maintain full warranty coverage and ensure optimal system performance, Wolpaq strongly recommends enrolling in an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) following the initial warranty period. AMC services include scheduled preventive maintenance visits, remote monitoring, priority response support, and preferential pricing on spare parts and upgrades.
